Butter Chicken springrolls
By Cookwithdena
Ingredients:
⁃ 3 lbs ground chicken
⁃ 4 tbs garlic finely chopped
⁃ 2 tbs olive oil
⁃ 3 tbs ginger paste
⁃ 1 jar of Butter chicken simmer sauce
⁃ 1 tbs Garam Masala spice
⁃ 1 tsp salt
⁃ 1 tsp black pepper
⁃ 1/2 tsp cumin
⁃ 1/2 tsp chili powder (if you want a kick)
⁃ 1/2 tsp garlic powder
⁃ 1 tbs crushed Methi leaves (Fenugreek leaves)
⁃ 1/3 cup fresh chopped cilantro
⁃ 1 package square spring roll wrapper
⁃ Spring roll glue
⁃ 1 tbs flour
⁃ 5 tbs water
⁃ Mix until smooth and use as a glue
In a large skillet sauté the ginger and garlic before adding in the chicken. Break up the meat and keep stirring until white in color. Add in all the other ingredients but the fresh cilantro. Cook for about 12 minutes to make sure the chicken is fully cooked. Let the filling cool down before adding in the chopped cilantro and then fill and roll your spring rolls. Don’t forget to use the glue to make sure they don’t open while frying. These freeze well, no need to thaw before frying. Or you can fry immediately.
