Halal Chicken Street Cart bowls

This recipe will be divided just to make it easier and less confusing….

Halal Chicken Street Cart Rice:

Ingredients:
• 1 1/2 c parboiled basmati rice
• 3 c water
• 2 bay leaves
• 1/4 tsp turmeric
• 2 tsp Knorr Halal Chicken Seasoning
• 1/2 tsp allspice
• 3 tbs frying oil or ghee
• Mix together the oil and seasonings , in a pot on medium high heat. Then add in the rice mixing well. Add in the water. Let it come to a boil, cover and lower the heat to the lowest setting for 20 minutes.
• Fluff the rice and serve!

Halal Chicken Street cart Chicken:

Ingredients:
• 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
• 2 tbs Knorr Halal Chicken Seasoning
• 1/3 cup yogurt
• 1/4 cup olive oil
• 2 tbs Greek seasoning
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp onion powder
• 1/2 tsp paprika
• 1/2 tsp turmeric
• 1 tsp black pepper
Mix all the ingredients together and let marinate for at least 45 minutes covered in the refrigerator. When ready to use, in a hot skillet, cook the thighs in a little olive oil. Turning every 2 minutes until the chicken is cooked thoroughly. About 15 mins.

Halal Chicken Street Cart Sauce:
Ingredients:• 1 cup sour cream • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise • 1/4 tsp garlic powder • 1/2 tsp mustard powder • 2 tbs white vinegar • 1 tbs honey • 1/4 tsp salt

Whisk everything together and either place in a squeeze bottle or a zipper bag and cut the corner for piping.

When you want to assemble your bowl, I like to add some lettuce , tomato and hot sauce with everything else.
