Orange Blossom Rice Pudding
Time consuming but sooooo worth it!
Time consuming but sooooo worth it!
Set about two hours aside plus refrigerator time.
Ingredients:
1. 1 Gallon whole milk
2. 1 can of table cream
3. 2 cups sugar
4. 1/2 cup Orange Blossom water
5. 2 cups of Calrose rice unwashed
6. Nonstick pot and a rubber or wooden spoon to mix.
Steps:
1. In a large nonstick pot add in the milk, rice and table cream. Put the stove on medium low heat. And stir.
2. Keep stirring, it’s ok it’s totally worth it.
3. About 45 mins later, you should see some steam. And you can check the rice. It should still have a bite to it.
4. Keep stirring, you don’t want the milk to burn at the bottom, and you don’t want the rice to clump up.
5. When you see the rice pudding start to thicken up, add in the sugar. Go back to stirring for about 20 more mins.
6. Lastly, add in the orange blossom water. It should be perfect at this point.
7. Pour into individual glass bowls, cover before refrigerating so the pudding doesn’t for a layer ontop.
This makes 18 1 cup servings. If you want half this amount follow the same steps and spilt the ingredients in half.
Bon Appetite ❤️ Dena
